In 1978 Mr Josep Mª Prat and Mr Josep Sola started to work in partnership from their humble houses and they come up with their first designs. A few months later they rented a small premise in the Horta area. A few years later the premise were not sufficient for the number of workers and the volume of work.

In 1986 they moved to a premise around the industrial area of Santiga in Barbera del Valles. This allowed them to incorporate of new machinery of assembly, of manual insertion like of SMD. At this point the sons of the founders Ignasi Prat and Marius Solà joined the company.

A second floor was built in the premises due to the strategy of making products in accordance with the client needs and with a high degree of value added towards increasing the volume of production.

In 2001 SAPSE was granted a quality certificate: ISO:9001, you can have a look in this link our quality policy.

The increase maintained of the sales year after year make possible that in 2003 the company moved to its current location at Ronda Santa Maria in Barberà del Vallès. .

At the beginning of the 2006 SAPSE adapts the manufacture to the RoHS norm: Director 2002/95/CE (manufacture in weld without lead) six months before the norm was of obligatory fulfillment.

In 2006 a growth of a 10% respect the previous year 2005 was possible due to the continuous grown of sales.
